INDIA'S 'FLYING SIKH ' DIES OF COVID

Milkha singh four times asian games gold medallist ,dies of COVID aged 91 in north Indian city of Chandigarh.

He is one of the India's first sport superstars and an ace sprinter. His wife Nirmal Kaur aged 85 , former volleyball captain had died few days earlier. Singh was the first Indian athlete to win gold medal in common wealth games in 400m. He represented India at Olympics in 1956,1960 and 1964.Sachin Tendulkar said singh's legachy would live on. Indian women's tennis star sania Mirza said "world will miss a legend like you". It inspired a Bollywood flim in 2013 called "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag".
