One year later, Rachel’s mom had the opportunity to visit some of the water projects funded by her birthday campaign. Today, Rachel and the community she inspired have brought clean water to more than 100,000 people:

Rachel had one wish for her 9th birthday: to raise $300 for clean water. After a terrible car accident took her life, people from all over the world donated to help her birthday wish come true. Together, they raised $1,265,823 and changed the lives of 37,770 people in Ethiopia.
