When the dutch ruled the world

The VOC (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie) was the first real international company which came into existence in the year 1602. And perished in 1800, due to losing a lot of things like wars and trust. As a Dutchman I am very proud of the VOC because in the time of the VOC the Netherlands was a very strong and powerful country. Which itself was so powerful that in the first decades it was feared by most other European countries.
