A hovering type of Fly

in Account Booster 👍3 years ago

Today, I managed to capture a unique kind of insect that has the ability to hover like a hummingbird. At first glance, it looks like a bee because of the yellow & black stripes on its body. The shape of its body and its wings is very similar to a fly. The way it flies is exactly the same as a hummingbird. It's awesome to witness how it stays in that same position while flying.

Insects are amazing creatures

Insects are the most successful type of animal on the planet. They make up about two-thirds of all animal species and about half of all insect species.

They come in a wide range of sizes, shapes, and colors. And they live in almost every part of the world. Some live in water while others are able to survive in some of the harshest environments on Earth.

Insects are also used by animals to humans. They help us pollinate plants, recycle dead plants and animals, provide food for other animals including themselves, and produce natural chemicals that can be used to make medicines.

The incredible abilities of insects

Insects have often been underestimated, creatures. They are the most diverse group of animals on Earth, with over 850,000 species discovered so far.

But what abilities do they have? Not only can they fly at a speed of 15-100km/h and sense their environment with a precision that no other animal can match, but insects also have a unique ability to adapt. This is because they have a lower metabolism that means they can survive in almost any climate or condition.
