Decision Part 1,

We make countless decisions—both big and small—every day of our lives. Go back to the office or WFH? Switch jobs or go back to school? To invest or not to invest?

The reason why decisions have so much power is because they are OURS. Many people feel helpless and angry because they believe that decisions are out of their hands.

The fact of the matter is that almost all decisions are in our hands. While it might seem like someone such as a boss, or a partner, or a friend, are the ones making the choice, our acceptance or reaction to that is purely ours.

When we realize that we have this type of control over our fate and our future, we are empowered. We are emboldened, and we are creative in terms of what it will take to achieve what we are setting out to do.

Decisions are what define our lives—so it’s important that they be informed decisions as often as possible.
If you make decisions based upon people's reactions or judgments then you make really boring choices. The hardest decisions in life are not between good and bad or right and wrong, but between two goods or two rights.

Why do we have to listen to our hearts? Because, wherever your heart is, that is where you all find your treasure
