Halloween is actually called Samhain and is also known as All Hallows Eve. AHE became shortened to Halloween.

Halloween is not supposed to be one day. It is a week, not a day.

This is not supposed to have anything to do with dressing up like a beheaded zombie with fake blood staining your shirt. Or ghosts or the Joker or...superheroes.

This is a time where the veil between this world and our ancestors spirits is weaker, so it is used for honouring them and connecting spiritually with them. For a week not a day.
