Melastoma malabathricum
Hello friends, this beautiful purple flowers is known as malabar melastome, senduduk, planter’s rhododendron, Singapore rhododendron or Indian rhododendron.
It’s in the family of Melastomataceae. It’s found mostly in tropical areas and in the wild.
It’s leaves can be used for medicinal purposes for different ailments such as diarrrhoea, dysentery, haemorrhoids, leucorrhoea, cuts and wounds, tooth and stomach aches, flatulence, sore legs and thrush.
