You have a dream or goals that have some kind of bearing on your life but they just don't seem achievable. It’s not that they are not achievable because it's just hard (how many times have our parents told us that?). Don’t let your self-limiting beliefs hold you back from living and working wholeheartedly towards achieving your goals.

Life is full of challenges, aspirations, and opportunities. If you want to achieve your dreams but for some reason can't do it, then use the resources around you to get what you want!

When I gave up DMing for MTG full-time, I knew that I wanted more time to write my stories and create anything else that popped into my head. After a lot of research online, posting job ads on boards, and interviewing potential employers; I realized quickly that working with really old business software didn’t remotely scratch the creative itch that raged deep inside me. Editing data all day was going to make me scream before long.

You’ve seen all those infomercials on T.V., perfect schemes that enable you to achieve your life’s dreams shed the stress of your “cush job” and live the good life with no effort and in a snap!

The American Dream has been evolving since the early 1900s and today is fueled by the hustle and hard work. Here are some guidelines to help you make better and wiser decisions about how to pursue your dreams while living the good life.

It is wrong not only from a moral lens but also from an economic point of view to chase riches without qualities like time, effort, experiences, and opportunities for reciprocation. People who start on this journey are lured by promises that sound too good to be true because they usually do not understand themselves or their situation, or correctly evaluate the nature of the situation. The journey is also characterized by a series of steps that may seem reasonable at first but become increasingly more difficult, and ultimately result in deep disappointment and devastating consequences. The first step often entails eliminating all feelings of discomfort so that individuals can feel better about themselves, but this can lead to the second step, which is to reject one's own emotions and set them aside.

The second step often leads to the third step, which is a total denial of one's feelings or the conviction that one must be bad or evil. The third step often leads to the fourth step, when individuals learn how to numb themselves and make their pain disappear by engaging in activities that are active rather than passive. For example, individuals might spend a lot of time doing something that gives them a sense of control such as cleaning, exercising, or shopping. The fourth step often leads to the fifth step which is about acknowledging the truth about oneself and what needs to be done in order for recovery to continue. This can often involve getting help from outside sources such as sponsors and practitioners.

The fifth step often leads to the sixth and final step of recovery which is about celebrating one's new life. This often includes describing what it feels like to be free from addiction and acknowledging how much better things are now that they are over with their addiction.
