Better opportunity to accumulate
Overall, the crypto market is looking bearish right after BTC dropped below 30k. Surprisingly, the Twitter accounts that I follow don't seem to get affected by the current market condition. They are still openly declaring their confidence in the projects that they support and the coins that they hold.
It's especially true for the folks in the Cosmos ecosystem. One good reason for it is the fact that Cosmos Devs have just started rolling out the best products for this season. Since launch, Osmosis has been operational for less than a month while Gravity Dex was just integrated less than a week ago. Emeris is just around the corner which is one of the most awaited frontends for Gravity Dex and the IBC-enabled chains that it will support.
It's an incredible development to watch!
If you are so concerned about the dollar value of your coins & tokens then this current market condition will definitely give you a hard time holding on to your investments. But if you will only look at your crypto holdings as it is then you should not be worried about the short term value of your holdings. After all, there will be another cycle in which you will see the value rises by 5x or even 10x. Again, the dollar value doesn't really matter since we are just experiencing the breakthrough of the development from the previous cycle.
If we have officially entered the bear market then it will be the best time to accumulate at a lower price.
For someone who experiences an entire cycle of market trends, then I won't be worrying about the price of the coins that I hold. Much like the impermanent loss that is happening on my LP holdings, everything is temporary until the day that I sell them! I believe that it isn't the best time to sell or change my game plan.
I'm still going to accumulate, hold, or stake, or LP until the year 2025. The current market trend is just making it easier for me to implement my plan.
Lower prices = Better opportunity to accumulate!
