Hello guys
Today 24/06/2021 I visited my grandpa's new poultry farm.The birds were amazing to behold,so I decided to take pictures of them and share with us here.The turkey 🦃 birds were grouped 5 females to one male to avoid fight for posterity among the males which is usually a fight to death.While a group of about 60 upcoming males were also kept in one chamber awaiting to be assigned Females.
Turkey farms are not very common in this part of the world since a lot of people prefer to eat chicken and pigs pork meat due to the mindset that turkey birds are very costly to buy
My grandpa's farm is the biggest in my village here in Nigeria numbering over 5000 turkey birds both chicks and adults.
My grandpa hatches over 200 eggs from the incubator every Monday.He deposits new ones as he is removing the already hatched ones.A lot of people come to buy both eggs,chicks,full grown males and females for ceremonial occasions and to grow their respective farms too etc.

He also has mapped out a little portion of farmland where he plants vegetables.
