The album featured "In My Place" as the lead single which is known for its melancholic rock sound. It became their highest peak in UK Singles Chart at that time for reaching number 2. In European Hot 100 Singles, it peaked at number 8. The song failed to enter the Billboard Hot 100, while it reached number 17 at Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles. Its music video gained more than 260 million views on YouTube.
