Despite the Gumti in Cumilla flowing over the danger level, the flood situation improved in nearly all of the impacted regions. Officials from the Flood Forecasting and Warning Center (FFWC) stated on Tuesday afternoon that since the water in the majority of the rivers was progressively retreating, the flood situation should get better over the following two days. However, the residents in the districts affected by the flooding have been dealing with a number of issues, such as a crisis and a lack of clean drinking water.
