Over here, the strawberries we see are mostly used in making finished products… you see strawberries juice, strawberry flavor and strawberry cake.
The day I finally tasted the real fruit for the first time, i was so shocked to get a sour taste!! I didn’t see that coming, I was expecting something very sweet.
Oh, they are very sweet, despite their fruit acidity. But - they need to be fully ripened in season in the sun and not grown in a greenhouse or stored for a long time.
