Employment opportunities:

Agriculture has provided jobs opportunities for millions of nigeria because with agriculture many has become self employed by rearing of animals, helping man to have their own food free from chemicals.

Poverty reduction: Agriculture can help reduce poverty, raise incomes and improve food security for 80% of the world's poor, who live in rural areas and work mainly in farming.

Agriculture plays a critical role in transforming economies to reach the goal, along with achieving other essential development goals like ensuring food and medical care.

Export earnings: agriculture are the most major source of export I many countries , when exporting these products to others countries the other country makes money from there.

Talk about the problems your country is facing in the agricultural sector

Poor agricultural infrastructure: this includes bad roads, storage and irrigation system ,Poor land-use management .

an inadequate land tenure system and overgrazing, increased chemical use and fertiliser abuse have led to soil degradation.

Then we have climate change this affects the crop yield and soil erosion and this will reduce farm productivity because when they weather is bad it affects the crop and when rains fall heavily it brings erosion.

Give possible solutions to these problems

Develop storage facilities: government should build a modern storage facilities that can help to store a good amount of produce, this will improve the crop quality.so that movement and distribution of good will go smoothly.

Invest in rural road and transportation: they should be a good road so that the transportation of agricultural products to move from one location to another.

Support climate research: Farmers receive training on water harvesting techniques, soil conservation methods, and the adoption of drought-resistant crops, empowering them .
