What role have drones (unmanned aerial vehicles) played in modernizing agriculture? Use your country as an example if applicable.

The drones or UAVs unmanned aerial vehicles have crucially offering the solutions that can enhance the Sustainability and productivity of the agriculture. The role of Agriculture is important in the economy of my country Pakistan. One of the chief applications of the Drones in the agricultural sector is the precision of the farming.The use of drones with the advanced sensors and advanced cameras can capture the images of the crops and it will allow the farmers to examine their fields in real time. This will be helpful to to access the health of the crops and indentification of the pests and early detection of the diseases in the crops.

When the areas point out that need attention for the health of crops with the help of the drones , the farmers can upgrade the inputs like use of fertilizers and pesticides to reduce the diseases.The dronse also play important roles in the mangamengt of irrigation where the water scarcity issues present. Unmanned aerial vehicles can detect the largest areas of the agriculture to identify the levels of moisture in soil. This will be helpful to educate the farmers to detect the water needs. This will enhance the yield of the crops.

One of the main methods of drones to assist the management of moisture of the soil is through the use of advanced sensors. Through the drones the images of the crops are captured, for example thermal imaging detect the difference in the temperature in crops and soil , this is the indication of too wet or too dry areas.This will be helpful for the farmers to detect that which area needs water and which area needs drainage. Additionally, the drones play important role in the management of the level of nutrients. The deficiency of essential nutrients can affect the crops and yields with the use of drones it can be detected.

How drones help in soil mapping and why is it important for precision farming

Drones play significant role in the mapping of soil and it is very important for the precise farming. The drones have the capability to capture the Ariel images and these images create a map of soil that describe the properties of soil.By the soil mapping the farmers can apply the nutrients and fertilizers to that area where needed.
