As an agricultural country, agriculture is one of the mainstays in increasing the economy and people's income in my beloved homeland, Indonesia. Supported by the vast agricultural area, this sector can be used to meet various daily needs. Almost the majority of people in Indonesia make agriculture their main occupation. Because Indonesia has very large agricultural land, being a farmer in Indonesia has become a job for most people, especially those living in rural areas. This job is easy for everyone to do because it has been going on for generations among Indonesian people.

Because the majority of people in Indonesia live from the agricultural sector, the agricultural industry provides a very large social role for Indonesia. Rice plants are one of the plants commonly cultivated in Indonesia. The results of this agriculture produce the staple food rice which is the staple food of the Indonesian people. This rice will become daily food for almost all people in Indonesia. Working as farmers also allows people to interact socially and usually help each other from planting to harvesting rice in the fields. This condition still occurs today in society.

Agricultural products, especially rice, really help the community in reducing poverty. These main agricultural products also encourage rural development in my beloved country. Although sometimes rice farming yields are still low due to various factors faced by farmers. However, in general, the government always tries to take various steps so that the agricultural sector, especially rice, can become a mainstay in improving the welfare of the community, especially farmers who are directly involved.

Rice farming products in Indonesia really help the poor people in our country. Because the profits from rice farming are not only enjoyed by the rice field owners, but also by the people who cultivate the rice fields. People who don't have rice fields also get benefits when the planting season and harvest time arrive. So it is not only rice field owners who can benefit from rice produced from rice fields. These agricultural products can boost the economy of people in rural and even urban areas in Indonesia because rice is a staple food.

Various challenges in the success of the agricultural sector must be faced which have an impact on the community's economy and the country's economy. For agriculture, when planting rice, what farmers generally face is that irrigation is not yet available adequately. Water is the main need in agriculture in rice fields when planting rice. So farmers only hope for rainwater to be able to cultivate their fields. It is true that in some places irrigation is available but it is not sufficient because of the large area of ​​rice fields that must be cultivated.

The attention of various parties is urgently needed to overcome these various challenges, especially from the Government. If not, it will certainly have a bigger impact on the community's economy. The biggest impact will certainly cause the poverty rate to increase sharply. Adding irrigation in various places or repairing what is no longer functioning well is one solution that the government can do. To increase agricultural output, the government can also provide subsidized fertilizer to farmers. Or provide adequate fertilizer at an affordable price.
