Today was the 4th day since I last changed water in my fish pond .
As we know the benefits or necessity of frequent changing of water in fish pond to give the fish fresh water .
Ok one of the things that reduces a good yield or growth of catfish is toxic water. When the oxygen contained in the water is reduced the water became much more toxify, because of the increase in the hydrogen concentration in the water there by making the water more acidic and unhealthy for fishes to survive or grow well.
The second negative effects of toxic water is the high concentration of ammonia which is as a result of excrete from the fishes and the digested feed in water. This is very harmful to the life of catfish especially during the fingerlings stage.. and also carry out sorting which is very good to avoid cannibalism.

I was told all these you've said, there was one time my mom use to rare these catfish. But we had a problem of theft. People always go to her pond at night with nets and steal those fishes. She was so disappointed that she stopped to rare them.
Now catfish business is so expensive to run ooo. For theft issues am blessed with a good surroundings
