Animals are very useful to us in the farms as well as in our houses so that they can help us by reducing the stress we may encountered. Today I would like to share my opinion regarding the above topic.

Horses are among the animals used for transportation in those days. Many people liked to ride horses, especially the richest people in the past, because they used horses to be recognized by others. Horses are very common in Nigeria, particularly in the northern region, where they are used for different celebrations such as the Durbar.

Horses were very famous in the past; each chief and royal household owned a horse, which they rode for enjoyment. Horses make occasions enjoyable, and their owners feed them with grass and clean water so that they look healthy and strong.

The most interesting thing about horses is that they respond quickly to skills and training; that's why they are friendly animals to humans.

Owners create shelters that allow horses to move from one place to another and this mostly happen during the day, while shelters are provided at night to keep them safe.

Horses can also be useful during war, as warriors in those days used them to attack their enemies. Many of these animals got injured during the process when the war was going on, they were well treated by the owner after the war. Those horses who died in the process were given a good burial. In fact, some of the horses in those days after the war were considered heroes because they contributed effectively to how the war was won.

Presently, people still continue riding horses, but there are not many. The use of advanced technology such as cars, motorcycles, tricycles, and e-bikes has replaced the need for using animals for transportation because they are fast and convenient.
