To moderators: Try to avoid this mistake!
Dear moderators and members of this community
As you know I have been organising events here on Steemit for a long time.
I know from my own experience that as an event organiser you could see your event not being supported for weeks or even months since things can change on Steemit all the time.
I made several times in the past the mistake of powering down my account in order to deliver prizes to the participants.
Please try to avoid this mistake if you are a moderator.
Don't expect all the time prizes if you are taking part in any of the events organised in this community. As a participant, you should be happy to take part in an event because you have the opportunity to create content for something that you like doing.
Unfortunately, I have told many people here in London about this community. I have invited them to join Steemit, I've even given some of them STEEM in order to power up their account. I have stopped supporting those people with their dance events and I no longer go to their dance classes or events because they either ignore or don't understand what I do here on Steemit.
About my events in this community, I will deliver prizes in STEEM and DAM (Dance and music tokens) according to the post payouts.
You come to this community if you like dancing, singing or playing an instrument and not for earning STEEM as things are now.
Prizes for Sing and play week 150 will be delivered in Dance and music tokens unless the post payout increase in the next two days.
Prizes for Dance contest week 208 will be delivered in Dance and music tokens (DAM) and the prize pool is bigger than usual. A part of that post payout will be used to buy back 100 DAM.
I would like to give Dance and music tokens to other moderators but I need more people supporting this community.
Different ways of supporting this community:
You can get the monthly membership by sending 10 DAM to @danceandmusic via https://steem-engine.net or 10 STEEM to @danceandmusic.
You can place some small "Buy orders" on https://steem-engine.net/?p=market&t=DT.
You could give @danceandmusic a small percentage of your post payout.
To me, it's still a mystery why we don't have more curators for our dance and music posts.
