Now almost all modern music is created with the help of technology. Usually these technologies are mixing and sound engineering.
People are still composers but scientific achievements in the field of artificial intelligence already make it possible to imitate a musical composition created by a person to some extent.
The principle of work in music in a nutshell: the analysis of the given works, the search for common features and combinations, and then the creation on the basis of the rules laid down in the program of a new musical composition in any existing style.
The robots haven't written any hits yet, but who knows what the future holds for us. There is a full-fledged rock band consisting of humanoid robots for example. It is named Compressorhead, that is a German heavy metal band.
The peculiarity of the group is that all the performers in it are robots playing ordinary musical instruments.
The idea of creating a rock band of robot performers in 2007 came from engineers Markus Stock and Frank Barnes from the German company Robocross, engaged in robotics.
According to the engineers, each member of a rock band should be special and original.
Among the developments there are alsonprograms specializing in composing classical music including music for movies.
Virtual composers can even create music suitable for medical purposes - relieving stress and headaches.
Some people even think that artificial intelligence is capable of creating real unique art.
I personally think that it is not possible but who knows. May be?
