Paramore's This Is Why, Newest Single After Almost 5 Years
Paramore have just released their latest single, This Is Why, from their sixth album of the same name which will be released on February 10 next year. This single is their most recent song since it was last in 2017.
According to Variety, vocalist Hayley Williams said that in fact This Is Why was the last song written for the new album. "It encapsulates a huge amount of ridiculous emotion, the rollercoaster of life in 2022," said the 33-year-old.
The music video for This Is Why was also released on September 29. Until this news was revealed, Sunday (2/10/2022), the music video directed by Brendan Yates has been watched by more than 2 million people on YouTube. In the video, the three members of Paramore appear. Hayley herself appeared with her iconic orange hair.
For those who don't know, Paramore is a rock band formed in 2004. Currently, Paramore consists of Hayley Williams as vocalist, Taylor York as guitarist, and Zac Farro as drummer. The band first earned a Grammy Awards in 2015 a Best Rock Song nomination for the song Ain't It Fun.
