Hello wonderful steemians all across the globe. I trust you guys are doing great and are enjoying your moments. I am @mbetobongluke and I'm very excited to also brainstorm and participate in this amazing contest titled; which is better for succeeding in life? (Job/Entrepreneur ).

My sincere thanks goes to @mahadisalim for organizing this wonderful and astounding contest👍 Many thanks and may God Almighty strengthen and reward you abundantly💪🙏

INTRODUCTION;

Based on my own understanding, an entrepreneur can be said to be a person (individual) who starts and runs a business based on the idea he/she has or perhaps the product the have. It could be farming, manufacturing or anything.
To me, I classified an entrepreneur as a risk taker.
A risk taker in the sense that they find their success by taking risk in their journey of pursuits. i.e you start your business yourself and solve your problems yourself.

What is the reason you like the entrepreneur?

These are my reasons why I prefer entrepreneurs to jobs;

1.) The number one most important reason why I prefer entrepreneurs to a job is that of FREEDOM. This itself cuts across all angles, like freedom of speech, you are the boss of your own, you meet new people, you have a schedule of your own work.... I can go on and on
Being the BOSS of your own in the sense that you make decisions of your own.

2.) As an entrepreneur, trust me you have your own work schedule. This alone is the life 75% of people have been yearning for. Here there's liberty (freedom) to make your own choices- decisions for yourself. In addition to this, you have the freedom to choose who you want to work with. The one in which you have confidence in/trust.

3.) As an entrepreneur, awesomely you can live the lifestyle you prefer/ wish for yourself. i.e you can operate anywhere. This also includes traveling to anywhere you wish to travel to at your own convenience. You owe nobody a damn. Whereas that of job; u work according to the procedure created or laid by your boss.

Travelling

4.) Another important reason why I prefer entrepreneurs to jobs is that you are open to innovation. This itself involves new ideas. Though in this regard, there is always competition.

5.) lastly, entrepreneurs improve standard of living.
I can boast of a whole lot of people that are doing well through entrepreneurs. I know of a man who resigned from his better paying job to start his own business.
As an entrepreneur, you have a greater chance of making more money.

To summarize everything
I know becoming an entrepreneur is hard. One of the reasons involves is limited resources/risk involved.
So in order to achieve that dream of yours, you have to take a bold step. So I will rather prefer an entrepreneur to employees because of the opportunities involved.

I look forward to becoming an entrepreneur.

If you are an entrepreneur, could you share your story with us? Or could you share a story of someone around you or someone you know?

Okay firstly, I am not yet an entrepreneur but I believe I will be one of them soon.

I will like to share a story of a man I know who is an entrepreneur.

This man was born into a poor family, though according to him, he really loved school but the family didn't have enough money for him to continue his study.
According to him, he dropped out of school when he was just 16. He had to work hard to make sure his family are elevated from this poverty. This man later moved on to work in a bakery. Having spent 5 years in the bakery work, he started saving money and start buying some bakery equipment which also includes the machine. As the year progresses he had to make a tough decision by quitting his job working in bakery for his boss.
Afterwards, the man started his own. Though according to him, he face a lot of challenges for over 2 years.
As at then till now, the man is now an employer of labour and the family are doing exceedingly well together with his children. Though 4 years back I had an opportunity of working in the man factory but my salary was too low depending on the department I was sent to.
After 5 months I had to resign from the factory because of the stress involved and the low pay.

Sincerely, this man is my motivation. I learned that we shouldn't underestimate the power of what we can do and that it's okay not knowing what we are passionate about.
The envisage is to learn from our mistakes as everyone is not perfect so we are bound to make mistakes.
Also we shouldn't underestimate the power of believing in ourselves.

In conclusion;

With the risks involved, resources, time associated with becoming an entrepreneur, I will prefer being an entrepreneur rather than seeking for a job no matter the pay.
To everyone out there, please keep going and don't ever give up. "You may be closer to your goals than you see".

Thank you everyone for reading my post. I invite @esty22, @meeky3 and @goodybest to participate in this contest.
Have an amazing day ahead.
