Who is a professional Teacher?

What is your definition of a professional Teacher?
Teaching is one of the oldest occupation in human race.their are actually those who got into the occupation just because the have look for job around and the couldn't find and they just badge into teaching just to make ends meet this type of teachers are the ones that bring bad name to the noble profession while also we have the very good ones .who are dedicated to their profession the do their work very well they are not after money but want to teach their students very well with all there hearts and souls .so to become a professional teacher you must pass through schools
Firstly you must go through university and obtain your first degree and you must also obtain your masters degree in your preferred profession you will also need a PhDs for to be well qualified professional teacher
How do we differentiate a professional Teacher from those who are in the field for just the salary?
Those teacher that came to the institution for money or for salary can be easily identified in the higher institutions like the universities you will see them extorting money from student ,helping unserious student to pass exams .always reluctant about the profession
Those professional teacher teachers who are good are always punctual to school ,they take their teaching very seriously, they don't sort or help students to pass exams they don't force student to buy hand outs or textbook they are very calm ,humble and diligent to their profession and they are the ones who are more qualified .
What are the criteria for becoming a professional Teacher?
For one to become a professional teacher they are some certain certificate that you must obtain you will need to obtain certificate from NTI that is that is Nigeria teaching institution at least for you to be able to teach nursery or primary
For someone to be able to teach secondary school at least the person should have obtained his or her HND or degree from university
And for one to be able to teach at university level that person should be able to have a masters and PHD
Do you think those who are there for the salary can offer same thing with professionals Who has passion for their work.
Those professionals who have passion in the work are very serious and the possesses what we call dignity of labour the do their jobs with all their hearts and minds without complaining but those who are there fir the salary are always nagging, complaining giving one excuses to another because the never have passion for their job.
What is your say/ Experience about this two in the field of teaching.?
Those teachers with passion to teacher can do their jobs even if they are not well paid or even without salary the will come to office to discharge their those whole hearted but those that those not have passion for their profession will always be un serious about their jobs.
