`Who is a professional Teacher?
- What is your definition of a professional Teacher?
A professional teacher is not one with best certificate but one with heart of good, passion and desire for the success of all the students.
A professional teacher is a person who loves and have passion for teaching. Spending all his /her time teaching the students (pupils) to their understanding without being tire and also takes time to reply to all the students questions. Showing love to the students and discipline them when they are wrong.
- How do we differentiate a professional Teacher from those who are in the field for just the salary?
He/She loves teaching without being persuaded / forced to.
Loves the students and treats them as family.
Pay attention to the students and also answers their questions.
Always been active in class and never misses any of it lectures.
Always try to bring the students along.
Give special attention to those (students) who are unable to flow along with others.
Every lesson/topic must come with examples (stories) to help the students understand more.
Discipline the students only when the are wrong.
The students good performance is her priority.
Always making sure the students understands what they are taught.
Watches out for the students safety.
Help those with low self esteem to build their self esteem
Have interest for all the students and not for few.
Brings out the best in the students.
- What are the criteria for becoming a professional Teacher?
One must first learn to love his/her job, having passion for teaching.
He/she much learn to love herself so that he/she can transfer this love to the students.
The students performance and future should be his/her priority.
Should not teach because of salary alone.
- Do you think those who are there for the salary can offer same thing with professionals Who has passion for their work.
Those who are there for salary can't offer the same thing, cause what they doing is base on the salary and not base on passion.
Some neglect the students who can't meet up with others students cause they are tire and they know that at the end of the month they will still receive their salary.
When salary is not paid they neglect their work, don't come to school if they managed to come they won't teach the children. This happen because they don't have passion for it.
Salary is what motivates them and that's their priority too.
They discipline the students with every little thing, not showing them love at all. They don't place value on the students instead they place value on their salary.
- What is your say/ Experience about this two in the field of teaching.?
What I say is that professional teacher should continue and keep doing the good work and they will be rewarded. Good works pay and that's for sure, they shouldn't give up.
Students needs them (professional teachers) to excel in there academy field.
For the salary earners all I have to say is you have to renew your mindset and know that you are dealing with future leaders, they need love and care to help then grow and enjoy learning.
They need support, love and care from their teachers. Spend time to teach them well, help them understand everything that they have been taught so that their going to school to learn won't be in vain. Thank you 😊
