Education is a formal learning that has to do with acquiring of knowledge, skills, beliefs, values etc. Its purpose is to gain wide knowledge that will help a person in all areas.

Education is very important in a nation. Infact, it's role is underestimated. Education enlightens not just the individual but the nation as a whole. The way an educated person behaves is different from the way an educated person behaves despite his or her money. Besides, being educated opens way for more opportunities.

When you are educated, you are so enlightened you can make money in different legal ways without being scammed or breaking the law. Education is a process towards making money though that is not the main aim.

As an educated person, there are many careers you can chose from and you can also switch from one career to the other. An educated person is bold and carries out research on ways to make money. With time,an educated person can accumulate wealth through the education gained, infact, education can take a person where money alone cannot.

Being educated makes for accelerated progress and success. A country where majority of it's citizens are educated is a country that has growth and progress. According to the great Nelson Mandela, "Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world!" When a Manis educated, he can fight for his rights like Nelson Mandela and get it.

Without education, a country struggles economically, financially and in other ways. A country loses a lot without education because it's citizens will be deceived, so a country's economic prosperity is highly dependent on the number of educated individuals they have. According to Dr. Suess, the more you read, the more things you will know, the more that you can learn, the more places you will go". So without education, making money will be futile and boring as the individual will know of on my one way to make money and the person or even nation will be backwards as more educated nations or individuals surge forward.

Money is an essential commodity in life. It is the driving force behind many actions. With it, one can achieve a lot. Since it is used as a means of exchange and to get whatever one wants in this world, people do different things just to get it. It is so important that without it, it is almost impossible to get education.

A man without education has his security and stability in his money. He knows his money can open doors for him and take him to where education cannot take him.

With money, an uneducated man can even pay an educated man to work for him. I'm our society today, a man without education but with money can be called upon to speak even in the midst of professors. He is honoured among educated people.

The place of money cannot be underestimated. One can get money first and acquire education later. There is nothing wrong with it. Unfortunately, people with money are treated differently from people without money. Money can make one's dream come true, money can save lives especially in emergency situation but with just education, lives can be lost especially when money is needed urgently.

With money, one can store up wealth which one can use to educate one's children later. Money can transform an uneducated person's life if he or she can use it wisely and a man with money can employ an educated man to help him fulfill his dreams, but without money, it seems as if all hope is lost. The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to be uneducated and also poor.

If I'm to chose, I would chose education over money, for the following reasons.

• While money is temporary, education is permanent. The knowledge gotten from education can never fly away, it stays with you forever but money might fly away through losses or being scammed. It's very difficult for an educated wealthy man who has lost everything to gain it back but with an educated rich man, if he loses his wealth, he can eventually apply different knowledge to gain it back over the years.

• Money provides access to short term opportunities while education plays a great part in long term growth. If I have just money without education, my life might get limited, I may have limited opportunities but with my education, I might be highly connected leading to more opportunities even outside my country.

• An uneducated person's might know only one way of making money and that is in the only way he is skilled but as an educated person, I can make my money in different ways like in technology, fashion, oil and gas, etc and I also have the advantage of switching careers even without money.

• An uneducated person without education might not know when he is cheated or when his right is infringed upon, even if he knows, he might not have time boldness to defend himself in court, but as an educated person, I can boldly defend myself when my rights are infringed upon and as an educated person, if I work towards my goal,not even the sky would be my limit. I would be able to provide for my family, opportunities won't pass me by.

• A wealthy man without education might not really be happy and contented because he knows he is lacking in a particular area but an educated person even without money is happy because he knows he is working towards getting money. He researches and is up to date in the current ways of making money, digitally and otherwise. So I would chose education over money. When I'm educated, the next thing is to get money.

Education first before money

In a nation where there is abundance but only few connected people swim in it, it's difficult to chose education over money. But it's worse to be uneducated and poor, some get stranded on the way while choosing money over education. But the truth is, we can't really separate the two. Education itself is expensive so you need money to gain it. But then, what's wealth or money when you don't know how to use it rightly, si to be on the safe side, both are important tho it's better to chase one after the other. Education first and then money. I hope I have made the right choice. Thank you.
