Hacking group Anonymous launches Anon Inu crypto token "to fight Musk and China"
Our Comments:
A few days back Forbes reported that the U.S government is offering up to USD10m as bounty to anyone for providing actionable intelligence about cyber attacks orchestrated by foreign governments. (see:U.S. Government Offers Cryptocurrency Bounty)
That bounty by the U.S government does not appear to be directed to the hacking group Anonymous launching Anon Inu coins because it is unlikely that a decentralized group like Anonymous is orchestrated by a foreign government. The possibility still exists of individuals acting on behalf of foreign governments infiltrating this decentralized group without revealing their association and getting the group to act against the U.S government or any other government for the matter.
It will be interesting if the cyber attacks are intended to expose corruption in the government which will render the group a hero in the eyes of the general public but a villain among the corrupt government officials.
In the event, Anonymous is likely to be called a traitor, a hero, a whistleblower, a patriot or a dissident depending on who you ask.
Interesting times are ahead, indeed, whilst this cat and mouse game persists.
