Corona virus pandemic, how it will affect various soccer team financially
Without being told, we all know that after this corona virus issue, the world will notice some uncertainties for long time. We will be hit by issues more than the virus itself, cases of bankruptcy will hit different firms. This is another issue we should be thinking of as poverty rate will increase, more sickness will sprout up, people will loose jobs, death rate will increase, how then do we combat all this?
I have been checking through various medium and I saw that lots of person will loose their job at this time. This is another issue the entire world need to battle after the outbreak. I was checking through soccer news, two things was the main issue trending. One of it is that, all team are agitating for wage cut and the other issue at hand is that clubs are loosing fund. We all know how much team will loose after this whole issue, now the big question is that how will they cope after this issue is out of place. Just some hours back, Leeds united has posted a loss of £2.1mil. with such announcement, many players and staff might lost their jobs if they refuse to take a pay cut or manage things up at this stage.
Apart from Leeds united alone, they are other team still battling with such threat. If
industries, firms, business, government etc can face such challenges, then tell
me who will now be safe from such mess. We are all not exempted. The good news is that the league management board are now trying within their reach to come into the matter as they are trying all their possible means to help teams who are in need to sort it out. One thing I am sure of is that players will be mandated to take pay cut pending when this corona virus pandemic is out of the entire world.
As a soccer lover, I will beg players at this stage to see reason to take such a wage cut, till things will be back to normal.
Together we will all get out from this mess.
