Predicted XI: Billy Gilmour to get his first Premier League start against Everton
Billy Gilmour would be a perfect replacement for both Kovacic and Joginho with both absent through injury and suspension respectively. I would go for a first Premier League start for Gilmour in the absent of both today. Chelsea will be facing Everton in the afternoon today and will need all the luck they can get with nine players on injury list and most of them are midfielders.
Mason Mount and Ross Barkley are the leading candidates for either attacking midfielder or outright midfielder, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek got through another 45 minutes in a behind-closed-doors game on Friday. With some winger issues as well, Mount might be forced to move further forward again, and potentially a move to three at the back.
The question is will Lampard go for 3-4-2-1 or the first choice tactics 4-2-3-1 which has been converted to 4-3-3 throughout the season.
