How bad could the coronavirus outbreak get?

I am staying home all the time except going out for 15 minutes grocery shopping every 15 days( two weeks) and during that time I wear Mask and also wrap it with towel ( double protection ), wear gloves , wear swimming goggles and look like a clown. This is the only time to appear like a clown in public.I am 41 year old healthy man in Dallas,Texas.
