With all the excitement, stress and anxiety going on around here this week, perhaps it's time to unwind, sit back and take a breathe.

Scientists are only just beginning to discover the incredible benefits of controlled and purposeful breathing which include an improvement in general health, but more importantly, mental health and well being, allowing us to relax properly and take stock.

Long being practised by many cultures around the world, we will probably take around 250 million breaths in our lifetime. Don't you think we ought to learn how to do it properly?
