Ground Cover......getting rid of the wooden bits!!

Although track, buildings and paraphanalia will get you so far, its the rest of the base board that's going to stand out. 

Even after you've constructed your roads and other railway and non-railway infrastructure, there will still be a lot of space to cover up. This is why general ground cover is so important and this video from the incredible Woodlands scenics, using their products of course will show you how to finish your layout by hiding the rest of the space and covering the ugly wooden bits!

I really must make a start on my layout instead of doing all this research but in the meantime, looking at what others can achieve and being amazed is a start!!
