Presidential couple extends wishes on Mother's Day
In a letter to mark Mother's Day, celebrated in Poland on May 26, the presidential couple extended their best wishes to all mothers and emphasised that a mother is a proven friend, a kind, wise counselor and a teacher of a good life.
"A mother is the whole world for her small child and for older and more mature children, one of the most important people in life. On this day, we especially remind ourselves and others that a mother is a proven friend and a kind, wise counselor. She comes to support and rescue in times of need. She is always ready to listen to us, show understanding and acceptance. She is a teacher of good life and sensitivity to the needs of other people. We celebrate Mother's Day in Poland out of an authentic need of the heart, spontaneously and universally, with real joy and pride," the president and his spouse emphasised.
