Fortnite: why Apple and Google decided to remove the popular video game from their app stores

Both companies indicated that they breached several of the legal terms that govern their virtual stores. Epic Games introduced a new payment method in which it offered a 20% discount to the user if they used the direct payment available within the game instead of the Apple or Google payment system.

With this modality, the company would avoid the 30% charge that these companies charge, which of course caused their annoyance, fornite has millions of users around the world as it is one of the most popular game applications
