A high level concentration of microplastics has been discovered by scientists on the seafloor. The findings where from the samples collected at the bottom of Mediterranean, which amounts to 1.9 million plastics per square meter.

 

It is quite alarming as these plastics will endangers millions of marine life when ingested.
