Rarity (uniqueness) and its popularity are two defining characteristic of a collectible. Antique furniture, comic books, trading cards, coins and currency, classic cars, stamps, dolls and toys and even wine are some of the collectibles you will be familiar with.
With the introduction of cryptocurrencies, we have now been introduced to a new form of collectibles known as Non Fungible Tokens (NFT). There are many types of NFTs and one of them is crypto arts and within crypto arts there is a subset known as CryptoPunks.
