New York City protests over the death of a black Minneapolis man in police custody turned violent Friday night, as demonstrators set a police van on fire and threw objects at NYPD officers who made dozens of arrests.
Demonstrators gathered in Manhattan's Foley Square and outside Barclays Center in Brooklyn Friday to protest the death of George Floyd, who died after a Minneapolis officer pressed his knee on Mr. Floyd's neck.
