Ghana’s debt stock hits GH¢236.1bn in 1st quarter of 2020

Ghana continues to sink in debts and the coronavirus pandemic has made it worse. Ghana has moved from 219.2 billion cedis debt stock to 236.1 billion cedis in the first quarter of 2020. The figures from the Central Bank means Ghana has added 16.9 billion cedis just between January and March 2020 representing an increase of 59.3 per cent of the GDP.
