Just like this artice, there are numerous other articles on the internet that discuss the antinutrient phytic acid that interferes with the absorption of certain minerals and vitamins and the ways by which we could reduce the effects of this antinutrient. Unfortunately, these articles do not highlight the benefits that accrue by consuming this same antinutrient and that consuming phytic acid in a meal interferes with the mineral and vitamin absorption of that meal only and not the previous meals or a subsequent meals.
