Probiotics are healthy bacteria that have many health benefits. In fact they probably have more health benefits than we know of because not many research studies have been done on their benefits. The traditional source of probiotics are fermented homemade foods such as yogurt, kefirs, cheese, pickles, sauerkraut, tempeh, kimchi, miso and natto. All of these are also available as commercial products in supermarkets and grocery stores. The question is are these commercial products as good as the home-made products? Dr. Weill does not think so? But there are others who say otherwise. What do you think? Share your views below, please.
