If you are a Nordstrom credit cardholder you would have known about this anniversary sale because it was open to the cardholders from July 12 but from today the sale is open to everyone at the same discount offerings. 

Since there are more than 5000 items on sale, there are still a lot of items with good discounts available but don't wait till the last day i.e 8th Aug as you may miss the best deals by then.
