Redditor Nets $4.2 Million in Bitcoin After Retrieving Lost Private Keys - InsideBitcoins.com
A recent post on Reddit confirmed that a student just became $4 million richer after retrieving his wallet's long lost private keys.
The user, named BitcoinHolderThankU, explained in his post that he had earned his Bitcoins back in 2011 through "surveys, watching videos, and completing random tasks." At the time, he had used most of his Bitcoins to purchase in-game currency for DarkOrbit, an online space-themed multiplayer game.
Over time, however, the user forgot his private keys on his older model Dell computer. He eventually recollected where he kept his private keys and gained access to his 127 BTC stash.
