It sounds from the description as if small businesses are merely presumed to have it easy. Social unrest seems to be the worry. Not solvency of businesses that were functioning before the pandemic hit. Also, without addressing the underlying issues involved in sanctions, it is hard to understand FM Zarif's point. Especially since solving the undesirable underlying arguments unilaterally would be simpler than alternatives, even if there were no pandemic, and had not been the plane disaster of a few months ago. I suppose I could talk ad infinitum about the drawbacks for any country in having nuclear weapons, but FM Zarif and others would not be inclined to listen. Maybe I should go talk to John Kerry, who does not seem to know his own Boston neighborhood has been depopulated for the past 20 years..... or maybe he did know and never said.....
