This robot taught itself to walk entirely on its own - MIT Technology Review

Google is steadily improving on the abilities granted to autonomous robots being created by the tech juggernaut.

Borrowing from the idea that a baby fawn is able to walk within seven hours of it birth by basically training itself to do so, Google has decided to turn this phenomenon up several notches by creating robots that will be capable of learning autonomously.

As much as we have systems that are already existing autonomously in the market, I don't think there has been anyone that has been capable of learning on its own.

So having a robot that will be able to teach itself how to walk will be an absolute game changer.
