BRIEF HISTORY OF JUNE
The month June was the fourth month of the year in early versions of the Roman Calendar which consisted of 30 days.

It later became the fifth month and had a lenght of 29 days after it was reformed around the year 450 BCE.

June is currently the sixth month of the year in Julian Gregorian Calendar and has a length of 30 days.

June has the most amount of daylight hours of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and also has the Shortest daylight hours in the Southern Hemisphere.

So many celebrations takes place in the month of June, like birthdays, wedding, etc. June according to various etymology, was named after the Roman Goddess Juno whom is the goddess of marriage and married couples. It is considered good luck to be married or get married in this month.
