Imagine You Are A Farmer.
Hello friends, farmers are involved in production and this crop production solves the food crisis of people in the country. The number of farmers in our country is large, 80 percent of the total population is directly and indirectly involved in this agricultural activity. Let's talk about the farmers of my country. Thank you @shahariar1 for such a contest.
1.Tell me about the farmers in your country? Tell about their economic status? How do people of other professions in your country see farmers?
People involved in Bangladesh food production are farmers. Those who ignore the sun and rain and work in the fields to grow crops. These agricultural products of the farmers keep the rural economy alive. Many more people are involved in this agricultural market. Farmers could not improve their economic condition yet most of the time could not sell non-crops at fair price. And sometimes even if they get the price of the crop, the high cost of growing the crop worries them. But agriculture is improving and the economic condition of farmers is improving through agriculture with the benefit of present technology.
People of other professions neglect and look down on the farming profession. I myself am a farmer and other professions leave me and give priority to job or business. Although many are employed in these agri-commodity trading and agri-related product manufacturing firms.
2. Are farmers neglected in your country? Are they getting their fair rights from the society or the state of your country?
Undoubtedly, the farmers of our country are neglected. No farmer can speak for his problems and rights. It is often seen in our country that people of many professions are agitating for their rights but the farmer can never even agitate for his rights. Constantly government and pesticide producing companies are increasing the prices of agricultural implements (fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural machinery) and some crops are not increasing in value as a result of which the farmers are neglected and oppressed. Even if the government gives subsidy to the farmers, it goes to the farmers due to corruption, half of it is not received by the real farmers, the other half is embezzled by the officials and people involved in it.
Farmers do not get loan assistance for agriculture from the government and those who do are not real farmers. As a result the real farmer is neglected.
The biggest corruption with the farmers of Bangladesh is not overweight. Farmers take 2-3 kg more than the actual weight when selling the products in the market.
3. What steps can be taken to get back the fair rights of farmers in your country?
Respecting farmers and respecting their work. All citizens should realize that if farmers stop production, there will be food shortage in the country. Ensuring fair price of agricultural produce to get back the fair rights of the farmers. Providing improved varieties of seeds and fertilizers and pesticides to farmers at affordable prices and supply of agricultural commodities. Providing training on agriculture and providing low interest loan assistance.
I invite you @chefdanie @shahid76 @mueeinislam to participate in this contest.

It's true that farmers are usually looked down up on. Currently in my country, everyone understand the importance of farming, those who used to look down on farmers are the ones supporting farming now due to the cost of food and scarcity.
Good luck!
