Let's learn to differentiate between rage and anger

I often hear people ask if anger and rage represent the same thing, in fact, when I didn't know the difference I also wondered that constantly. Now, we can say that both anger and rage are represented by being aggressive emotional responses and both are anchored to very similar concepts however, with remarkable differences.

Both aggressive emotions are usually triggered by various causes, however, the most frequent are by people or some situation where disgust, frustration, feeling of threat or pain are present. Now, feeling anger is not the same as feeling anger just as the way we manifest anger, we do not do it with rage since, rage is an expression of anger and in the case of the first, it is a more harmful and deep emotion.

Rage is anger and anger on a large scale while anger is a feeling that makes us feel outraged by it, anger is a born emotion and it is born when we are living an episode of annoyance or failing that, irritation. As far as rabies is concerned, we can say that it is a violet reaction and generally, it is difficult to control it since, in several cases, it occurs with violent physical actions.

Another differential factor between rage and anger is observed in its nature since, anger is promoted by a negative emotion either by an event that we are living at that precise moment or failing that, we already experience it but, we are thinking about what happened; On the other hand, when we are faced with the feeling of rage, its nature is backed by an uncontrollable phase and aggressiveness is extreme.

We have to keep in mind that, although anger is milder than rage, it is present different degrees or levels and in all cases is not expressed externally. Adverse situation occurs in anger because, if it manifests itself and although the person wants to hide it, he will not be able to because it is the main emotion that we do not have the faculty to repress. In this same aspect it is necessary to mention that, anger can delay thanks to the fact that we can hide it, however, anger is brief since, when expressing it, it can be drained.

It is necessary to mention that, anger can be manifested through our body in various ways among which anguish and tension stand out, however, if we are facing the scenario of anger, this will trigger its manifestation through our hormonal and nervous system therefore, the body is recharged with adrenaline and even, Increases the level of physical strength.

At this point, it is already clear to us that it is not the same to feel anger than rage because, anger is born of our internal emotions and manifests itself when we are facing a situation that is disturbing us emotionally and like other emotions, is characterized by being lawful or failing that, understandable in certain circumstances. That is why, when referring to emotions, anger is not an emotion with a positive or negative category seen that, it is only an emotion that will fulfill its determined function.

Referring to the manifestation of rage or anger we can highlight that, when we are under the effects of rage, we will manifest it through crying, shouting, insults, hostile and violent actions therefore, we can not hide that its manifestations are intense as well as, very varied.

Now, generally anger can emerge easily however, anger not for that reason, in this case even if we decide to hide it, with the passage of time it can generate physical and mental health damage. Anger can also manifest itself through deep sadness, depression and suffering by noting that, when we have anger, we can be present in the face of a possible mental health disorder.

Undoubtedly, anger is one of our emotions and just as the human being feels it, animals also often experience it. Similarly, the favorite reaction that this emotion has is rage, which is why the visible face of rage is none other than anger. I know that managing anger correctly is not an easy task since we often do not feel anger, however, if we propose to learn how to manage it, we can achieve it.
