World Cyrus the Great Day
The 7th of Aban is in accordance with the 29th of October, the International Day of Cyrus (Cyrus D), which has long been celebrated by the Commonwealth.

This day was established on the occasion of the completion of the conquest of the Babylonian Empire by the Iranian army (October ) and the end of the era of oppression in the ancient world.

On such a day, Cyrus the Great, after opening the gates of the city of Babylon, grew into that great and glorious and very old city. The people of Babylon thought that they would now face plunder, murder, and encroachment on their lives, property, and wives, and then a tyrant and oppressor would rule over them, but not only did Cyrus the Great and his soldiers do so, but Cyrus commanded freedom and equality.
The decree was recognized by the (United Nations) as the first (Charter) for the freedom of the people in the world.

Cyrus Day is not registered in the official calendar, however, various groups of Iranians want to register this day in the national calendar of Iran and every year on the seventh of October by attending the tomb of Cyrus in Pasargad to celebrate this day. This day is not a big birthday of Cyrus and It's his day of remembrance.
