In this post, I will be sharing with you the information about Alibag and the experience that I have about this place.

Alibag.

Alibag is one of my favorite places to spend the weekend. I and my friends had many weekends at Alibag. A number of time I have visted Alibag in a year.

I like to spend weekends in Alibag because the climate at this place is very peaceful. There are many beaches, and the important is you will be the only one on the beach or you will enjoy the beach time only with your friend, there is no other people crowd. You will feel like its a private beach. Yes, there will no more on the beach to disturb you. We always come to Alibag by Bikes, because for us it's no so far. We reach here by enjoying road trip. Tea-Breakfast, many halts, joking, laughing.

Alibag is a coastal town in Raigad District of Maharashtra, India. It is the headquarters of the Raigad district and is south of the city of Mumbai. Alibag is part of Mumbai Metropolitan Region and is situated at a distance of about 96km from Mumbai.

Beaches In Alibag.

I like to spend a peaceful time on beaches or only with friends. Beaches in Alibag is a perfect location for me. In birthday occasion, two days-one night outing we do alcoholic parties here sometime, because you will only here, so no one disturb you and also no chance that anyone gets disturb from you.

You will be never tired when you spend the time on beaches. Sometime we had a entire day on beach only.

Alibag is a very popular weekend getaway and has earned itself the name of 'mini-Goa', owing to the high tourist footfall all year round. Steeped in colonial history, Alibaug is a quaint little town located about 96 km from Mumbai and 150 km from Pune, and is replete with sandy beaches, clean unpolluted air and plenty of forts and temples, ensuring that despite being a small town, you never run out of activities to do.

Food

Chickan and Fish dishes is a special at this place. Don't know what spices they use but the dry chicken and fry fish are very testy, you will love it.

A place to visit near Alibag, Murud-Janjira Fort is one of the famos and its a iconic place in In Alibag.

A Very interesting thing is, this Fort is made in on island off the sea. This is a most vist tourist place.

To reach at Fort, there are slamm boats available, we have to go by these bots. The journy on this boat to Fort is very enjoyable.

Look at the inside view of Murud-Janjira Fort.

You might thing how we can touch this in hot climate. But, this is special thing here, the meterial which use to make this will keep cool in sunny climate. You can touch, it's not warm.

Even if the climate is High Temprature, this place is the coolest in this Fort. It was actually a Cool, we can feel that.

The sea water is salty, in this fort they have made a small lake and according to the history the water in this lake is not salty, at that time the people who was lived in this Fort, they use this water for drink.
