Steem Crypto Challenge #1 : My Journey in the Crypto World
Hello,
When did I learn about cryptocurrency and how long have I held it？
I get to know to about cryptocurrency 2-3 year back when the bitcoin get famous in India. Bitcoin is the first crypto coin that I get to know at that time I can't invest in bitcoin because I'm in college and I also did not have any job. so if I want to invest in bitcoin so I need to take money from my parents and don't think it is a good idea because of the price of bitcoin so high that risking that much amount of money from my parents I did not find good but I have some savings and invest in other crypto coins.
My experience on crypto
My first experience is not that much good. I invest 5000 INR in one crypto but after some time I get to know that in which crypto I invested is a fraud project and I loose my all saving which I invest in that project and also after some time RBI(Reserve Bank of India) ban crypto trading in India so I stop investing in crypto.
2 year back my friend suggest me some cryptocurrency but as I lose my money in a fraud project so this time it's hard to believe in any project where I will invest money. So he tells me about some crypto platform where I need to invest time for getting a good return and I also can invest money.
Steemit is one of those platforms he suggested to me and now I have a good amount of steem and SBD by just investing my time on the steemit platform. I also have some other coins and tokens like the AFIT token, Electroneum coin, PRE Token, BAT, etc. I'm also in think of invest some money when I get my joining and start my job. Till then I'm trying to make good contests and contests on the steemit platform.
My first crypto coin
The first crypto coin which I earn is Electroneum. In the past, I start mining the Electroneum coin through mobile phones but now when then start in the next phase they stop the mining from mobile phones. but it is my one of the favorite crypto coin because it's my first crypto coin which I earn and also it has so many features like you can exchange Electroneum for Digital work, you can recharge your mobile number or pay your electricity bill(Currently available in some countries).
Which platform I like to trade cryptocurrency？
Till now I not do crypto trading. I just collect and store the coins and tokens but I learn about some platforms where I trade cryptocurrency like Binance, Huobi, Coinbases, etc. I also have an account of Huobi and coinbase.
I perform some exchange between STEEM & SBD on steemwallet not done trading on any other platform because I'm not very confident about that so I'm just waiting for my friend @sumit10698 who is currently in his village. he will come here and show me some live example so I get a clear idea about the crypto trading.

Currently, I have more than 400 Steem and 8 SBD in my Steem wallet. I also have more than 740 STEEM POWER and I'm looking to touch the 1000 STEEM POWER target in the near future.
I also have more than 13000 Afit token,1800+ Electroneum coin, 1000+ PRE tokens, 35 BAT, and 0.1 ETH.
This is my small crypto collection. I did not have an exact idea of how much value of all these tokens and coins because currently, I'm focusing on collecting and saving these tokens and coins, instead of making a profit by selling all these coins and tokens.
So this the small story of my journey in the crypto world.

There is lot scam projects available related to crypto. So font go for like those,only find trusted projects it give good earnings.
I am also mine electroneam in my mobile,i lost my password so not possible to withdraw or use for needs.
Then i join in steemit platform in 2017 ending,then after i get good earnings here. Using those i doing trading in exchange,profits i withdraw for my needs.
Still now i dont put single penny in crypto lol. Complete funds from steem i get
Now having decent amount $1000,my aim to convert at least $2000 in this year.
Hope i reach my goals.

As you are in college life/age, I guess you have a good time to keep collect the coins that are you actually doing now, and it is good from an investment point of view. Saving coins now and might be in the future you will get huge returns.

Many crypto fraud/scams also cropped up during 2017 when crypto boomed all across with Bitcoin hitting an all-time-high of 20k.
At this moment the crypto footing has got so strong and firm that it is virtually creating employment opportunity, democratizing the economy all across the world, to be honest crypto has made us more interconnected economically than ever.
Always try to read the Whitepaper, even though you may not understand all, at least you will be having a briefing. The second point is to gather information from the internet about the project you are investing in.
You will certainly make it before 2020 ends, possibly 5k also by working hard, by engaging hard, if you have time. My all the best wishes are with you.
