Christ speaks to all.

With these words, Christ speaks to each person. Everyone is worried and burdened, whether they realize it or not. We suffer under a burden that only Christ can lift. The heaviest burden we bear is the burden of sin. If we were left to ourselves, this burden would crush us. But Christ took our place. "The Lord has laid upon him the sins of us all" (Isaiah 53, 6).

He bore the burden of our guilt. He will take the weight off our tired shoulders and give us rest. He will bear the burden of care and grief for us. He invites us to entrust all his concerns to him, because he cares for us with love.

The Big Brother of all humanity is on the eternal throne. He sees every soul that directs its eyes to Him as the Savior. He knows by experience all the weaknesses of humanity, all our deficiencies and the strength of our temptations, since He Himself was "tempted in everything except sin."

Heb. 4, 15. He is awake upon you, timid soul of the children of God! If you are tempted, He will deliver you. If you are weak, He will support you. If you have no knowledge, He will enlighten you. If you are hurt, He will heal. The Lord "counts the number of stars" and He "heals the brokenhearted, and heals their sorrows." . 146, 4.3.

Christ's love for the redeemed by Him is stronger than the mother's love for the child. We have the opportunity to rest in his hands and say, "I will trust him, because he gave his life for me."

Human love can change; but the love of Christ never changes. When we cry out to Him for help, His hand reaches out and saves us.
